C42RESEARCH COLLECTIVE
JOINCOLLECTIVE MODESTATUS // REQUEST ACCESS

Curiosity is enough to knock on the door.

C42 does not use credentials as the price of admission. Tell us what you know, what you are learning, what you want to build, and where you think you can contribute.

ENTRY PATH

C42 is looking for contribution, not a résumé contest.

Joining means entering a reviewed collaboration boundary. The useful question is not whether someone has the right title; it is whether they can think clearly, build, test, challenge assumptions, learn, or contribute evidence without pretending to know what they do not.
01
INTRODUCE

Show us how you think and what you do

Skills can come from work, school, self-teaching, obsession, lived experience, or a combination. Specific examples matter more than credential theater.

02
CONTRIBUTE

Name the work you want to touch

Tell us what you want to build, investigate, review, document, test, or learn well enough to help with.

03
REVIEW

Entry is deliberately reviewed

Join requests remain private and enter the Director queue. There is no automatic public account creation or instant access to private systems.

04
EARN TRUST

Access should grow with evidence

Future collaboration should expand through demonstrated work, responsible behavior, and clear boundaries rather than a one-time form submission.

WHAT LEAVES THIS NODE

PRIVATE REQUEST

The initial request is stored privately for Director review.

CONTRIBUTION CONTEXT

What the person can offer, wants to learn, and hopes to work on.

REVIEW DECISION

A deliberate next step rather than silent self-registration.

Requests are reviewed manually. No response time is guaranteed.

AUTH BOUNDARY

This build creates the reviewed entry boundary, not automatic member accounts. Authentication credentials are issued only after an explicit Director decision; public self-registration remains disabled.
